Welcome to Guidepost Scout Group,


Guidepost Scout Group is a registered charity established to provide Scouting Activities, including Cubs and Beavers in Guidepost and surrounding areas. The Groups purpose is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. Membership fees are kept low so that no one is prevented from joining the group due to low parental income and a social fund is established to help with the costs of additional activities


Rules of Membership


The group is open to young people from the age of 6yrs up to 14 ½ yrs. Membership is open to anyone irrespective of gender, race, colour or religion, physical or mental ability. All members must complete an application form, pay the required fees and uphold the rules and aims of the Scout movement. Membership will be renewed on an annual basis.
